Christmas and New Year’s greetings to all! We believe that Jesus, the one born in a manger of Bethlehem, is the Christ the Son of the Living God and the Savior of the broken world. Our congregation participates in the Christian Church Disciples of Christ in these United States of America and Canada. Of late we are discovering the power of spiritual disciples that include: prayer, Scripture reading, giving and serving others, worshipping, and encouraging the community of faith as we make disciples. As we prepare for Christmas and a New Year we look to the Light of Christ.

I’ll be speaking Sundays on that very theme and how in a dark and broken world, God breaks in with light that saves and makes whole. It’s exciting to see how people grow and change for good because of the best news, that God has come and He loves His children. Let me ask us one and all to practice the very best of hospitality to others in the name of Christ. To be inviting and welcoming to one another to me is one powerful way of being genuine and relevant with our neighbors. I’m looking up this season, at the light, the star and to the LORD.

Pastor Bill Harrold
